Duly Health and Care's Surgical Centers in Lombard and Westmont Named to U.S. News & World Report 2026 Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers List
DOWNER'S GROVE, IL / ACCESS Newswire / March 18, 2026 / Duly Health and Care announced today that two of its ambulatory surgery centers, Duly Surgery Center Lombard and Duly Surgery Center Westmont, have been named to U.S. News & World Report's 2026 list of Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers.
Duly Surgery Center Lombard was recognized for Colonoscopy & Endoscopy, Orthopedics & Spine, and Urology, while Duly Surgery Center Westmont earned recognition for Orthopedics & Spine.
This year marks the first time Duly has been recognized in Urology, reflecting the continued growth and strength of the organization's surgical programs.
"Being recognized by U.S. News & World Report reflects the dedication our physicians, nurses, and care teams bring to patients every day," said Dr. Donald Hoscheit, Chief Medical Officer at Duly. "Our ambulatory surgery centers are designed to deliver high-quality care in a setting that is convenient, efficient, and focused on the best possible outcomes. It's meaningful to see that commitment recognized across multiple specialties."
U.S. News & World Report, in collaboration with Arcadia, evaluated more than 4,400 surgery centers across multiple specialties, basing its ratings on objective, risk-adjusted measures of patient outcomes, including complication avoidance, reductions in emergency room visits, and fewer unplanned hospitalizations. To ensure fair comparisons among ambulatory surgery centers, the analysis accounted for each patient's pre-existing conditions and other risk factors. In all, fewer than 21% of evaluated centers earned a "Best Ambulatory Surgery Center" rating.
"The Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers ratings empower consumers to find a local outpatient facility that matches their surgical needs with exceptional outcomes," said Ben Harder, chief of health analysis and managing editor at U.S. News. "These ratings help patients, in consultation with their doctors, identify facilities with a proven track record of excellence in quality and clinical outcomes."
For Duly's Urology team, the new recognition reflects a continued focus on delivering advanced care in a setting designed around patient comfort and efficiency.
"We're honored to see our urology program recognized by U.S. News & World Report," said Dr. Amit Patel, Co-chair of Duly's Urology Department. "Advanced urologic care, including many cancer-related procedures, can now be delivered safely in an outpatient setting. Our ambulatory surgery centers allow patients to receive highly specialized surgical care in an environment designed around their comfort and recovery. That approach also supports closer relationships between patients and their care teams, helping guide them through treatment and recovery and ultimately supporting better outcomes."
Ambulatory surgery centers play an important role in expanding access to high-quality care by offering specialized procedures in a more convenient and cost-effective outpatient setting. At Duly, these centers are designed to help patients move through their care experience efficiently while receiving expert treatment close to home. Duly's surgery centers are operated in partnership with Surgery Partners, a leading independent operator of surgical facilities. Surgery Partners oversees day-to-day operations while working closely with Duly physicians and care teams to support the high standards of safety, quality, and patient experience that patients expect from Duly.
