Springbok skipper Kolisi to play 100th Test against France
South Africa's two-time Rugby World Cup-winning captain Siya Kolisi will win his 100th Test cap in this weekend's Autumn Nations Series game with France in Paris, South African Rugby announced on Thursday.
Kolisi made his Springbok debut in 2013 before leading the side to back-to-back Webb Ellis trophies in 2019 and 2023.
The 34-year-old flanker will skipper the side for Saturday's game in Paris, a re-match of the World Cup quarter-final from two years ago.
South Africa head coach Rassie Erasmus named nine players in his starting 15 from the run-on side from that last-eight win in 2023.
Erasmus has made four changes from last Saturday's 61-7 win over Japan with full-back Damian Willemse, flanker Pieter-Steph du Toit and props Thomas du Toit and Boan Venter coming in.
Winger Ethan Hooker, flanker Franco Mostert, and front-rowers Ox Nche and Zachary Porthen move out of the matchday 23.
