Taber Cares: OKC Builder Continues to Support Local Community
Empowering Local Communities Through Generous Donations and Volunteerism in the Greater Oklahoma City Area
In 2016, the team at Homes by Taber® set out to make an even bigger difference in the community with the official creation of the Taber Cares program, an initiative that was born out of a commitment to giving back, fostering volunteerism, and supporting local organizations throughout the Greater Oklahoma City area. Since its inception in 2017, Taber Cares has donated a total of $1,386,165 to local non-profits, with overall contributions growing each year. These monetary donations were compounded with the thousands of volunteer hours the Taber Team has contributed around the OKC metro and this local builder is committed to continuing its initiative into 2025.
Presenting $7,000 to Edmond Mobile Meals, a non-profit for which the Taber Team frequently volunteers to deliver meals to those in need.

2025 Taber Cares Recipients
At the heart of the Taber Cares program lies a meticulous selection process for the years' recipients, conducted through a comprehensive application procedure. Homes by Taber is dedicated to identifying organizations that resonate with core values, and these organizations not only appreciate the financial contributions given to them, but they also provide meaningful volunteer opportunities for Taber team employees throughout the year. A key aspect of the selection criteria is diversity, ensuring that team members can engage with a variety of causes that hold individualized, personal significance for them.
