Salem Center Deploys Oregon-Made Dax Robots to Enhance Guest Safety

Daxbot partners with Salem Center to create a welcoming touchpoint for guests and faster response for on-site teams.

SALEM, OREGON / ACCESS Newswire / November 12, 2025 / Salem Center is partnering with Daxbot, an Oregon robotics company, to launch Dax security robots at the Salem Center in downtown Salem, Oregon. The semi-autonomous Dax robots will circulate during open hours to look out for safety incidents and support a consistent security presence and quick incident response times for shoppers and retailers.

Daxbot's security robots are designed to deter nuisance activity through presence and positive engagement. On routine loops, the robots help surface issues such as access concerns and safety incidents in interior corridors. When needed, on-site personnel are notified of incidents requiring attention, helping teams respond faster and with greater awareness.
