TransWest to Create 400 New Jobs Across Puget Sound
Transportation Company Looks to Hire Drivers, Technicians and Support Team to Expand Commuter Services
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON / ACCESS Newswire / May 13, 2025 / TransWest, a leading mobility services provider in Puget Sound, today announced it will hire 400 new employees to support its growing commuter service programs. The expansion will create opportunities for drivers, mechanics and support teams across Seattle, Everett and Redmond.
TransWest connects with the community at its Night at the Races event at Evergreen Speedway to recruit and celebrate drivers.
Three hundred driver positions are available, including roles for those with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a passenger endorsement. TransWest is offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified CDL drivers. The company also welcomes non-CDL applicants with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and provides paid training opportunities for those interested in obtaining their CDL and passenger endorsement.
All positions have a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a matching 401(K), and performance-based bonuses. In addition to driver roles, TransWest is hiring fleet technicians and support teams to assist with daily operations and customer service.
TransWest operates shared shuttles and provides parking and mobility solutions to many of Seattle's top employers and private organizations. The company has earned a strong reputation for employee retention, a growth-oriented culture, and making commutes more enjoyable.
"It's our people, especially our drivers, who've helped us grow independently from a valet service into a top end-to-end mobility provider over the past 12 years," said Andrew Janison, founder and CEO of TransWest. "If you're looking for a reliable route, a steady schedule, great culture and benefits, and an opportunity to make a difference in your community, we'd love to have you join our team."
TransWest's custom commuter programs reduce congestion and simplify daily travel for thousands of local employees. "More companies are seeking sustainable, efficient ways to move their teams, and our programs make commuting easier, less stressful, and more environmentally responsible," said Andrew Janison.
