Arizona Tribune - Smith-Midland Secures $10 Million Contract for I-81 VDOT Project

This project, the third largest in Smith-Midland's history, includes the manufacturing of Smith-Midland's proven SoftSound^® a proprietary sound absorptive concrete face that absorbs traffic noise into the sound wall, along with retaining wall elements and structural sound wall columns that will enhance the I-81 corridor improvements. Designed for long-term durability and efficient installation, the precast systems help accelerate construction schedules while providing lasting performance in demanding transportation environments.
