Lifetime Store Relocating to West Bountiful After 18 Years in Salt Lake City Due to I-15 Expansion Project
CLEARFIELD, UT / ACCESS Newswire / June 20, 2025 / Lifetime Products is relocating one of its nine retail store locations after 18 years in Salt Lake City just off the freeway on Warm Springs Road to a new location in West Bountiful. The move comes as a result of the Utah Department of Transportation's I-15 Expansion Project, which will widen the freeway through the area and directly impact the current store site. The Salt Lake store's final days of operation will be in early July. To make the most of the transition, a moving sale started, June 18th and will run through early July.
"This store has meant a lot to us and the Salt Lake community for nearly two decades," said Nate Ashby, Director of Retail Operations at Lifetime Products. "While it's hard to say goodbye to this location, we're excited about the future. The new space in West Bountiful will allow us to better serve our customers with a fresh look and more room. You will even be able to see this location off the freeway like you were our old Salt Lake location."
The Salt Lake City store holds a special place in Lifetime's history as our first free-standing retail location outside of the Freeport Center, where our company is headquartered and home to our manufacturing facilities. Since opening its doors 18 years ago, this store has helped connect our locally made products with families across the Salt Lake Valley. As we prepare to open our new location in West Bountiful, we're grateful for the role this store has played in helping grow our retail presence.
The new store will be located in the old Cinemark building in West Bountiful and is expected to open in spring 2026. The new address will be 206 S 625 W Suite 1230, West Bountiful, UT 84010.
To continue serving the Salt Lake Valley during the transition, Lifetime has already opened a new store in Taylorsville this last year. The Taylorsville location is part of the broader plan to ensure Lifetime customers across the valley have easy access to the products they love.
The upcoming West Bountiful location will feature the same great selection from Lifetime Products, including tables, chairs, sheds, coolers, kayaks, and basketball hoops, all in a new and improved space.
