Lexaria Enters a New Pharmaceutical Agreement for DehydraTECH
- Third pharmaceutical company relationship entered
KELOWNA, BC / ACCESS Newswire / November 4, 2026 / Lexaria Bioscience Corp. (NASDAQ:LEXX) (the "Company" or "Lexaria"), a global innovator in drug delivery platforms, announces that it has entered into an Agreement with an unnamed pharmaceutical company ("PharmCo") to investigate Lexaria's DehydraTECH technology with one or more proprietary PharmCo molecules.
Today's announcement is separate from, and has no relationship with, Lexaria's two Material Transfer Agreements already existing with other pharmaceutical companies.
The new Agreement outlines the conditions under which PharmCo will supply Lexaria with one or more proprietary molecule(s) which will then be processed with Lexaria's patented DehydraTECH technology for evaluation. Lexaria expects that, if the evaluation process is successful, the parties will potentially move towards a licensing agreement with traditional terms including economics.
At Pharmco's request, Lexaria will not be disclosing Pharmco's identity nor specific details of the new Agreement.
Lexaria was introduced to PharmCo through Liberi Group, a global life sciences business development consultancy working with Lexaria on its DehydraTECH partnering strategy.
Lexaria will provide an update upon the completion of the contemplated initial study(ies) including whether any business decisions have been made at that time, regarding technology licensing or other business.
