SAN DIEGO, CA / ACCESS Newswire / August 21, 2026 / Dermata Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:DRMA) ("Dermata" or the "Company"), a science-driven leader in dermatologic solutions, today announced that Tome Foundational Treatment, the Company's first direct-to-consumer skincare product, is now open to preorders. The Tome Foundational Treatment is expected to start shipping on August 25, 2026.
Beginning today, customers can preorder Tome Foundational Treatment at www.tomeskincare.com. The Foundational Treatment will retail for $178 (about $45/treatment) with subscribers receiving a 10% discount. Customers will receive four once-weekly treatments of the Foundational Treatment with each once-weekly treatment including a cup of the Company's Bioneedle™ powder, a tube of Activator, and an application brush. Right before use, the consumer mixes the product then applies it as a mask, ensuring even distribution to achieve maximum potency of the Bioneedle. The Foundational Treatment is a novel skin reset that represents the Company's first product in a planned portfolio of consumer skincare products to be developed under the Tome brand.
"Opening preorders is an exciting milestone for us as we move closer to getting Tome Foundational Treatment into the hands of customers," commented Gerry Proehl, Chief Executive Officer of Dermata. "Over the past year, our team has been focused on preparing for commercialization, including building the Tome brand, researching consumers skincare wants, ordering supplies, designing packaging, optimizing the supply chain, and building a social media presence. With preorders now underway, we are entering the final stage ahead of our planned commercial launch, expected on August 25, 2026," continued Mr. Proehl. "We believe that our Foundational Treatment can fill the "white-space" in the current skincare market by providing consumers with a natural, topical product that is safe to use at home, but provides professional-grade results," concluded Mr. Proehl.
